Liquor Sales Policy

Fine Food Distributors (Licence No. 51407255) is authorised to sell and supply liquor in accordance with section 39(a) of the Liquor Licensing Act 1997.
In addition to the conditions (Section 39A) listed below, Fine Food Distributors delivery personnel require that identification be provided at the time of delivery.

We will not deliver your order if we consider delivery may be unsuitable for any reason, including the recipient appearing to our delivery personnel to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, under the age of 18 years or acting for or on behalf of another person who may be unsuitable for any reason (including because they may be under 18 years).

SECTION 39A—Direct Sales Licence
Direct Sales Transaction means:

A transaction for the sale of liquor in which— (a) the liquor is ordered by the purchaser by mail, telephone, facsimile transmission or internet or other electronic communication; and (b) the liquor is delivered to the purchaser, or a person nominated by the purchaser, at the residence or place of business of the purchaser, or some place (other than premises at which the liquor has been stored prior to delivery) nominated by the purchaser;

(1) Subject to this Act, a direct sales licence authorises the licensee to sell liquor at any time through direct sales transactions (provided that, if the liquor is to be delivered to an address in this State, the liquor is despatched and delivered only between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm and not on Good Friday or Christmas Day).

(2) It is a condition of a direct sales licence that the licensee does not, as part of, or in connection with, the business authorised by the licence, invite or admit prospective purchasers of liquor to any premises or place at which liquor is displayed or stored for sale by the licensee.
